What is a Zoom H4n recorder?

Zoom H4n is a sophisticated, handheld, digital recorder. There are several Digital Portable Handy Recorders available in the market. Zoom H4n Handy Recorder is one. Tascam DR-40 handheld 4-Track recorder is another popular one. Both these models are very identical.

They make the job of recording very easy. No need to record a song in a studio. Studio like recording capability can be found in these modern digital portable recorders. All these for a cost of less than $300.

Zoom, originally came up with a Zoom H4 recorder and Zoom H2 recorder3 years ago. Now, Zoom has 3 different types of digital recorders: Zoom H4n, Zoom H2n and Zoom H1 recorder. Of the three, Zoom H4n is the best selling digital portable recorder. A Zoom H1 costs as little as $99.
